The EMR Community Fund is available to a range of organisations, including charities, sports clubs, schools, Not For Profit etc, that are within a 15km radius of an EMR managed station.

We are looking to support projects that achieve one or more of the Dept for Transport’s Community Rail Development Strategy 4 key pillars:

  • Providing a voice for the community
  • Promoting sustainable, healthy and accessible travel
  • ​Bringing communities together and supporting diversity and inclusion
  • Supporting social and economic development

and one or more of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.

Projects do not have to be related to the railway.
